Pony up!

Pony has just released a set of interchangeable crochet hooks, which combine a smooth aluminium hook with a soft rubberised handle for the ideal crocheting combination.
The set contains eight hooks in 2–6mm sizes, all in colourful aluminium which slides smoothly through your stitches. The tip of the hook is pointy enough to work its way into tricky stitches, but not so pointy that you risk splitting the yarn as you work. These slim hooks then slide into the interchangeable handle provided, giving you a grippy yet comfortable handle to work with. The handle has a flattened thumb grip and gives you a good range of control as you work. You can even adjust how the thumb rest lines up with the notch of the hook to suit how you hold your crochet. Our only criticism would be that, once the hook is inside the handle, you can’t see what size it is as the shaft is covered by the handle. The set also comes with two wool needles and ten lockable stitch markers, of which we can never have too many!
